Top Picks From Heimtextil 2017: Upholstery, Wallcoverings and Carpet

We pick up here from last week’s coverage of Heimtextil with a recap of our top picks from the show. Overall it was great exposure to established manufacturers abroad that are starting to gain traction in the United States and a deeper look at how more tactile surfaces such as upholstery, wallcoverings and carpet can really make a statement in a space. Crevin Crevin: Upholstery Fabric Family-owned and -operated, Crevin is a progressive, design-centric textile company whose upholstery fabric is completely manufactured on-site in Terrassa, Barcelona. Their Instagram feed offers an inside look into their design and production processes as well as their partnerships with local design schools and events such as Barcelona Design Week. A standout in their contract-grade upholstery line is ARC, a three-dimensional wool fabric that comes in 19 colorways, ranging from deep jewel tones to brighter, vibrant colors.
