Radical Innovation: Call for Entries 2017

Much like its name suggests, the annual Radical Innovation Award celebrates bold, forward-thinking ideas within the hotel sphere. Students and professionals alike are invited to submit their 2017 concepts online from January 17 through April 22. If you have a big new idea for hotels, this is your opportunity to get discovered and find funding. Among the past winners is Zoku, the grand-prize winner in 2015, which opened its first property in May 2016 in Amsterdam. The home-office hybrid is suitable for long stays boasting the services of a hotel with the feel of a lively neighborhood. Dubbed “Driftscape,” the project proposed autonomous, drone-powered guest room pods that are connected to a main hub but free to fly to a given location chosen by their inhabitants.
